About Us

EnviroSpectrum is a partnership made up of two leading edge training providers. HazTrain, Inc., of La Plata, MD; and Information Spectrum, Inc. of Annandale, VA.

	HazTrain, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Dr. Jerry Smith to meet the growing training needs required under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Over the past 17 years, Haztrain has diversified to meet not only the ever-expanding needs for environmental health and safety training, but also specific problem solving for the hazardous material management industry.
The Haztrain staff consists of environmental and chemical engineers, biologists, chemists, toxicologists, industrial hygienists, career hazardous material technicians, and technical writers. All of our instructors are also certified environmental trainers through the National Environmental Training Association (NETA).

	Information Spectrum, Inc. (ISI), founded in 1971, is a professional services company providing logistics, foreign military sales, program management, and training services to federal, military, and commercial clients. ISI is a recognized leader in developing comprehensive training technology solutions, and provides interactive multimedia training
(computer-based training, Web-based training, electronic performance support systems, and electronic publishing) to numerous clients. Our staff of simulation engineers, instructional designers, instructors, graphic artists, programmers, and human resource specialists has earned a reputation as innovative and pioneering in the field of technology-based training.
